GHOULISH GHOST SHIP SAILS INTO EDMONTON GREEN

Frighteningly good festivities are taking place at Edmonton Green on Saturday 28th October to celebrate Halloween. Families are invited to enjoy free craft workshops, freaky face-painting and walkabout entertainment, all taking place alongside a GIANT ghostly ship.

A 26 foot replica ship will be setting anchor on North Mall (near Costa) in Edmonton Green. Between 11am – 4pm, children will be able to hop aboard and hear a spooky story told by the Captain: Ghoulina the Ghost Pirate. The ship will be strewn with cobwebs and includes a spacious deck, moving ship’s wheel, realistic rigging and gun ports for would-be sailors to enjoy a spot of skullduggery!

As well as the storytelling sessions throughout the day, there is a bounty of activity on the mall. Kids can stop by the craft workshop and make a pirate treasure map and telescope to take home. Also, there is a freaky face-painting station where kids can have a Halloween makeover. Not to be missed is the roller-skating pumpkin, who will be zipping about the Centre and posing for photos.

And there is something special for the adults too; shoppers who spend £10 or more at Edmonton Green stores can show a receipt to a member of the crew, before delving into the ‘Trick or Treat’ chest. This chest is packed with swag including exclusive discount vouchers, gifts and instant wins, from participating retailers at the Centre.

This event is free and will take place on Saturday 28th October from 11am to 4pm.
