Disclosure of Interest in Shares of St Modwen Properties PLCSections 198-202 of the Companies Act, 1985

The Company has today been advised that following the purchase of 1,000,000 ordinary 10p shares, Henderson Financial Management Limited and its associated companies (acting as agent for its discretionary clients) hold (either directly or indirectly) 12,951,060 ordinary 10p shares in St Modwen Properties PLC which represents 10.72% of the issued share capital figure of 120,773,954.
