St Modwen Developments’ success at its Coombs Wood Business Park, Halesowen, continues with another warehouse sale and the start of construction of a further four warehouses on the 43-acre site.
A 12, 000 sq ft warehouse with offices has just been pre-sold to B.I.L.L. Ltd, a transport and warehousing company specialising in express timed deliveries Europe-wide ,which is to relocate from Sandwell Business Park. The firm, which services the automotive and retail industries will take occupation when the building is completed next March.
The relocation by B.I.L.L provides it with an additional 8,000 sq ft compared with its current facilities and will serve its new business developments in Europe and the Far East.
In addition, four speculative units totalling 37,500 sq ft are now under construction and will be ready for occupation next April.
Ian Romano of St Modwen, said: “We have already received a high level of demand for the next phase which will comprise two 12,500 sq ft buildings, one 10,000 sq ft and one unit of 1,500 sq ft, which is under offer.
“The B.I.L.L deal is the second on the park this summer. Recently, we concluded a pre-sale deal with hand and power tool specialists Toolbank, which is relocating from Halesowen next February into 34,600 sq ft purpose-built premises.”
