TRANSPORT FIRM RELOCATES TO QUEDGELEY EAST ESTATE

27 March 2008

James Timms Transport Ltd has relocated into the last available building on the 24-acre St Modwen¹s Quedgeley East estate, Gloucester.

The firm has moved from the nearby 32-acre Quedgeley West Business Park as part of the on-going development of Quedgeley West where occupational agreements for approximately 150,000 sq ft of new development have recently been completed with three companies.

James Timms Transport is renting a 62,500 sq ft distribution and storage building on a three-year lease.

A new access road into Quedgeley East, a former Ministry of Defence base, has recently opened to divert traffic to the estate away from Haresfield village while significantly improving access to nearby Junction 12 M5.

Peter Davies, development manager for St Modwen, said: "The new letting to James Timms Transport reflects our overall strategy with new development at Quedgeley West being successfully undertaken and our existing business occupiers being relocated into existing (ex-MOD) space on Quedgeley East.

"The new road which gives access from Junction 12 to Quedgeley East makes it a compelling proposition for occupiers requiring well located cost effective space."

Ash & Co acted for St Modwen.
