St. Modwen has kickstarted the new year with a hat trick of office lettings at Discovery Court, in Poole, Dorset. The UK’s leading regeneration specialist has completed transactions with Alterian, WDSGlobal and Drum Cussac to take units totalling almost 10,000 sq ft at the thriving business centre. James Edwards of Goadsby acted on behalf of St. Modwen in negotiating the lettings.
Marketing solutions provider Alterian has taken a 4,207 sq ft while mobile telecommunications specialist WDSGlobal has taken 3,869 sq ft. Both companies will take occupation in January 2010. Existing tenant Drum Cussac has grown its operations within the centre and now occupies nearly 2,000 sq ft having taken an additional 1,700 sq ft.
Development surveyor James Stockdale said: “This is a fantastic start to the year for Discovery Court. In this difficult economic climate, companies need the flexibility in office costs and lease terms which we offer. Suites are available ranging from 140 to 9,000 sq ft, and occupiers benefit from an excellent location on Wallisdown Road, close to both the A31 and A35, as well as conferencing and telephone answering facilities, car parking and an on site restaurant.
“The decision by Drum Cussac to increase its space from 274 sq ft when it first moved in 2004 to 2,000 sq ft shows that tenants can easily grow their businesses in these high-quality and well-connected offices.”
Other tenants at Discovery Court include Bournemouth and Poole PCT, ITV Broadcasting, Barnardos and St. John Ambulance.
