BINGO! GALA COMPLETES LEASE FOR FARNBOROUGH TOWN CENTRE

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has completed its lease with Gala Bingo for its town centre regeneration scheme in Farnborough, Hampshire. The operator, which has a 40% share of the UK’s bingo market, has signed up to a 32,000 sq ft in the first phase of the scheme, adjacent to new occupiers Sainsbury’s and Travelodge.

“This is an important letting in our ongoing regeneration of Farnborough town centre. which continues to progress despite the economic downturn,” says James Stockdale, Development Manager, St. Modwen. “The lease forms just part of the 244,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure space we are bringing to Farnborough.

“In the past three months a 62,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s, a 77-bedroom Travelodge and a 260 bay car park have opened. We are substantially improving the town centre in Farnborough with a modern mix of amenities which will prove attractive to other occupiers. “
