ST. MODWEN COMPLETE FINAL DEALS AT MAXTED PARK, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
10 May 2010
Maxted Park now fully occupied St. Modwen, the UKs leading regeneration specialist, has completed sales of the final two remaining units at Maxted Park, Hemel Hempstead. The industrial estate, managed from the Northern Home Counties regional office, is now 100% sold. These latest deals follow the sale of two other units on the park, which completed in early April. The 45,000 sq ft industrial scheme was built speculatively during 2008 and interest in the park was shown just weeks following construction completion, with the first six units selling in just over six months. The park is now fully occupied a year after completion. Claire Madden, Director of Lambert Smith Hampton, letting agent for Maxted Park, commented: “We are delighted that these final deals have been completed at Maxted Park. It is a great result for a speculative industrial development, which has had to contend with such an unfavourable economic climate. To reach 100% occupation in just over a year is real testament to the quality of Maxted Park and shows that there is occupier demand out there if you have the right product.” Robin Vaughan, Development Manager at St. Modwen Northern Home Counties commented: “This is a fantastic result for Maxted Park and great to see St. Modwen leading the way in the Northern Home Counties region with a major asset fully sold. We are particularly encouraged by the level of interest shown in Maxted Park, proving there is significant appetite for high quality industrial units.” Maxted Park is a 2.5 acre park situated to the east of Hemel Hempstead Town Centre. Purchasers include The Healthy Vending Company, Basmati Rice UK Ltd and Think Big Graphics. |
