22,000 SQ FT LETTING AT WATLING STREET BUSINESS PARK

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist has secured a prime letting at its Watling Street Business Park site near Cannock, in Staffordshire.

Flint-based Medical Gas Solutions (MGS) is expanding into the Midlands for the first time having taken a 10 year lease on a 22,000 sq ft unit at the Business Park.

The leading manufacturer and distributor of medical gases and equipment for the healthcare industry has chosen Watling Street due to its enviable transport connections at the heart of the country.

St. Modwen has experienced increasing interest in its commercial and industrial parks across the Midlands, fuelled by a renewed regional economy.

The developer is now hoping to sign a tenant on the last remaining unit at Watling Street by undertaking a comprehensive refurbishment project. The 50,000 sq ft building will be re-clad and internally renovated and two new dock level doors installed.

Watling Street comprises over 165,000 sq ft of B1, B2 and B8 industrial, warehousing and open storage accommodation in a prime location directly off the A5, mid-way between Brownhills and Cannock. The business park benefits from its close proximity to the M6 and M6 Toll being within six miles of both motorways. 

With flexible, high quality units ranging from 2,121 sq ft up to 50,000 sq ft, the business park has proved extremely popular with a wide range of commercial, distribution and light industrial businesses including pallet distribution specialist Go Direct, Allied Scaffolding, PRM Green Technologies and Peppermill Antiques.
