Another major deal for St Modwen at Coombs Wood

St Modwen Developments Ltd has pre-sold a 895 sq m (9,630 sq ft) two-storey office building on its 43-acre Coombs Wood Business Park, Halesowen, to Redrow Group Services Ltd for around £1.2 million.

The building, which will become the West Midlands regional headquarters of Redrow Homes Ltd is to be completed in mid-summer and will be prominently located at the entrance to the development.

St Modwen is considering a complementary scheme of courtyard offices on the adjacent land.

Over the past two years we have completed in excess of 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) per year.”

A 3.5 acre plot remains undeveloped on the east side of the Coombs Wood site for which a planning application has been submitted to develop a range of speculative industrial buildings from 557 sq m (6,000 sq ft) to 1,393 sq m (15,000 sq ft).

On the west side of the site a ten-acre plot is attracting interest from a major distribution user and a 4.5 acre plot is also available.
