AWARD-WINNING COMPANY PM CONNECT CELEBRATES SUCCESS AT LONGBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY PARK

A tenant at St. Modwen’s Longbridge Technology Park is celebrating 12 months of awards success with a hat trick of accolades. In 2016, PM Connect won several industry awards and finished the year ranked the 11th fastest growing tech company in the UK and fastest growing company in communications space for the UK by Deloitte.

The company also ranked 57th in the 2016 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 awards across the UK/Asia markets, acknowledging PM Connect’s fast revenue growth since 2012.

The mobile content specialist opened an office at the Longbridge Technology Park within the Innovation Centre in 2012 and following rapid expansion over the next few years, and with the help of the Innovation Centre’s flexibility model, PM Connect was able to grow its office space in line with its workforce.

PM Connect Managing Director, James Macfarlane, commented on the company’s success and growth at Longbridge: “We’re overwhelmed to have been recognised as one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK. From the talented staff we work with to the office space we’ve grown into, the only place we could have grown this quickly and seamlessly is at Longbridge with St. Modwen.”

James Teal, St. Modwen’s Innovation Centre Manager, also commented: “PM Connect have been with us during exciting times for the business and it has been brilliant to watch their growth and success.”

“The team now occupies 2,755 sq ft of office space at the Technology Park and is one of the many great examples of how start-ups can transition at Longbridge, moving within the business park and new town centre as their business expands.”

St. Modwen developed the office accommodation at Seven House and Park Point in the new town centre to provide additional quality office space, and along with the Technology Park there are still further design and build opportunities in this expanding location.

This summer will be the 10thanniversary of the Innovation Centre and Technology Park at Longbridge, and will be marked by St. Modwen with a celebration of the success and range of businesses that have taken space at the site over the years.

The £100 million Technology Park is at the forefront of the Longbridge regeneration project and central to the vision of making Longbridge the Midlands’ leading centre for technology and innovation.
