Bewise moving into Farnborough centre

Bewise has agreed terms with Key Property Investments, St Modwen Properties PLC’s joint venture with Salhia Real Estate Co, to move into Kingsmead, part of Key’s £40 million Farnborough Town Centre redevelopment.

The clothing retailer, which is taking more than 557 sq m (6,000 sq ft) ground floor space on a 15-year lease at an annual rent of £87,000, plan to begin trading at Kingsmead in October.

Simon Rutter of St Modwen, said: “We are pleased to have attracted another new retailer to Farnborough following Wilkinson Hardware who last year decided to open in the town. This is in advance of the numerous regeneration developments which will be starting this year, helping to upgrade the town’s retail and leisure image.”
