St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has completed a deal with Papa John’s at its town centre regeneration scheme in Farnborough, Hampshire. The pizza delivery chain, which has 142 stores throughout the UK and plans to open 40 more in 2010, has signed up to take 990 sq ft in the recently completed first phase of the scheme, next to Travelodge.
The deal comes hot off the heels of the recent transaction with J D Wetherspoon which saw the pub operator take a 6,000 sq ft unit next door as part of the regeneration of the town centre.
James Stockdale, development manager at St. Modwen, said: “This new letting is evidence of the continued headway we are making with our scheme in Farnborough, in spite of difficult economic conditions. This deal with Papa John’s will contribute to the improved range of leisure facilities on offer at Farnborough including the new Wetherspoons pub and Travelodge hotel.”
Green and Partners acted for St. Modwen, Colliers acted for Papa John’s.
