CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU CONFIRMED FOR ST. MODWEN’S HALETOP EAST

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has let the final commercial office unit at its Haletop East retail and office development on Rowlands Way, Wythenshawe.

The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), the independent community charity, has signed a five year lease on the 3,200 sq ft first floor office which will house staff offering free and confidential advice to the people of Wythenshawe.

The deal will see CAB operate from secure and modern premises alongside a range of other operators including Gamezone, Manchester Credit Union and Skills Solutions, which took units in the 15,000 sq ft development in 2009.

Jill McDonald, director of resources for Manchester Citizens Advice Bureau Service said: ”The work of the Citizens Advice Bureau is all about serving the needs of the local community and to do that, we need to be based at the heart of it. Haletop East gives us an easy-to-access and prominent base to support the people of Wythenshawe.”

Steven Knowles, development director at St. Modwen said: “To achieve full occupancy at the development is a significant milestone for us and will be welcomed across the town. The town centre is really thriving and we are running at an occupancy rate of 100 per cent for retail.

“The development of Hale Top East is part of our on-going renewal of the town centre which will take a major step forward later this year with the completion of the Etrop Court office and retail development. We are committed to maintaining the vibrancy of Wythenshawe town centre and adding new elements to enable it to thrive.”
