COURIER FIRM TAKES DELIVERY OF NEW HILTON PARK UNIT
BLDS Couriers has acquired the first of the small industrial units that St Modwen has speculatively developed in the latest phase on the 79-acre Hilton Business Park, South Derbyshire, which is part of the 260-acre mixed use project on the former Ministry of Defence site.
The 5,250 sq ft unit, part of a ten unit 49,250 sq ft development phase, was sold to the firm for £355,000.
Paul Smith of St Modwen, said: ³We are in detailed discussions with a number of other potential occupiers for the remaining units, some of which will hopefully be concluded before the end of the year.
³The units are available to buy or let which provides companies with the opportunity to own their own premises as well as merely went them.²
The business park is part of the large mixed-use Hilton project, orignally a joint venture with the Ministry of Defence, which on completion will have created more than 1,200 homes, 70-acres of employment development totalling more than one million sq ft of employment space, a new district centre, sports, schools and community facilities, plus a by-pass for the village centre.
