CUNBAR PAINTS TAKES SPACE AT HILTON
Cunbar Paints is the second occupier to take space in the latest ten unit 49,250 sq ft speculative phase of industrial/distribution development by St Modwen on its 79-acre Hilton Business Park, South Derbyshire.
The firm has acquired a 4,000 sq ft building in a deal which was exchanged and completed within a three week period from agreement of terms.
Cunbar Paints is to use the facility as part of its national distribution network.
“After a slowish start a promising pattern of interest is now building up,” said Paul Smith of St Modwen. “There are another four units under offer and in solicitors hands, the remaining units in this speculative phase are available to buy or rent and there is good overall interest from further occupiers who see the potential of this well located development in close proximity to the country¹s principal road network with good local employment.
“When completed the Hilton project on former Ministry of Defence land will have created more than 1,200 homes, more than one million sq ft of employment space and a new district centre.
