DARLINGTON RESIDENTS INVITED TO COMMENT ON ST. MODWEN’S PROPOSALS FOR FAVERDALE 58 AND WHESSOE ROAD
St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, is inviting local residents to a “drop in” session on Thursday 12 September to find out more about plans for a proposed residential-led mixed-use development on land at Faverdale 58 and Whessoe Road in Darlington.
The proposed development includes new homes, employment units and a small retail centre, as well as open space and associated landscaping of the area. The plans will be on display from 3pm to 6.30pm at St Georges Bridge Centre at Alexandra House in Darlington.
Nick Whittingham, Land Director at St. Modwen, said: “This community consultation event is an opportunity for local residents to give their views on the proposed development plans and influence the layout of the scheme. The comments and views of all local residents are important to us and we look forward to hearing the public’s feedback regarding this site.
“This is just the start of the process as we consider submitting an outline planning application to Darlington Borough Council. St. Modwen has extensive experience of working with local communities on such projects and we hope everyone will come along to find out more about this proposed development.”
Details of the proposals and copies of the consultation leaflets are available now at: www.england-lyle.co.uk/consultation. Additional plans and information will be displayed at the community public consultation event on Thursday 12th September.
