As demand continues to rise for premium industrial sheds across the Midlands, St. Modwen has completed its latest letting of a 48,632 sq ft industrial unit at its Watling Street Business Park site, near Cannock, Staffordshire.

The popular business park, owned and managed by the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has let the unit to logistics operator, Pro Freight Solutions Limited, which is expanding its premises in order to cater for its growing business.

Unit 16 provides a substantial yard and multiple loading doors, including two new dock level loading doors, and has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme.

The business park has proven to be consistently popular with industrial, storage and distribution tenants, owing to its prime location and its on-site management and security policy. Just two further units remain to let, at 8,465 sq ft and 4,234 sq ft.

Jonathan Green, senior development surveyor said: “There is increasing interest in St. Modwen’s commercial and industrial parks across the Midlands, which can bring forward much needed employment opportunities to the region. Watling Street is a prime example, enjoying an ideal location with great connectivity to the rest of the UK.

“The development has a great reputation within the wider market, with a number of long term local tenants alongside national firms who are capitalising on its superb transport links.”

Mitch Chance, Managing Director at Pro Freight Solutions Ltd, added: “Pro Freight Solutions is enjoying a period of rapid expansion. Watling Street provides the ideal location, allowing us to grow our operations, whilst benefitting from the local employment pool.”

Watling Street comprises over 150,000 sq ft of industrial, warehousing and open storage accommodation, and is situated in a prime location directly off the A5, mid-way between Brownhills and Cannock, with easy access to the M6 and M6 Toll.
