DIGBETH DINING CLUB SET TO COOK UP A STORM IN LONGBRIDGE

Longbridge residents and visitors are in for a mouth-watering treat, with the return of award-winning Digbeth Dining Club (DDC) to Longbridge in 2018.

Crowned winner of the UK’s Best Street Food Event for 2013 and 2014, DDC will be visiting the town centre once a month from March through to September, bringing some of the region’s finest street food vendors to Longbridge. The first event set to take place on Saturday 10th March from 11am-6pm.

Visitors can enjoy a delicious variety of street foods, with traders scheduled to appear including Baked in Brick, named the Best of the Best at the British Street Food Awards, Chef Shack, Urban Cheesecake, Big Red Pig Company and more. There will also be craft beers, drinks and entertainment on the day.

Andrea Clarke, Property Manager for St. Modwen, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Digbeth Dining Club back to Longbridge. Last year’s events were a resounding success and we’re excited to be working with some of the best local street food vendors in the region.”

Jack Brabant Co-Founder of Digbeth Dining said: “We are excited to be back in Longbridge for a Summer Long residency in 2018. We had a great response to our events last year and this year we are returning with more traders and more content to really cement our events into the Longbridge calendar.”

Thanks to support from St. Modwen, owner and manager of the town centre, community group Friends of Longbridge Open Spaces (FLOS) has organised a range of events for the year ahead.
