EDMONTON GREEN ATTRACTS A RECORD 200,000 PLUS VISITORS A WEEK

Smashing all previous records for visitor numbers, local shopping centre Edmonton Green has exceeded 200,000 visitors in a week. The figures released by the shopping centre’s owner, St. Modwen this week show a huge increase of over 10,000 extra visitors compared with the same week in 2009, showing signs that people are heading back to the shops as the UK economy begins to recover.

This encouraging news from the Centre also comes at a time of change to the management team. Roger Allen has joined as the Centre Manager for Edmonton Green. Roger has a wealth of experience managing shopping centres around the UK from the Meadows & Brookfield Centre’s in Sandhurst and Cheshunt to The London Trocadero.

Roger Allen, Centre Manager, Edmonton Green comments: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Edmonton Green particularly at a time of increasing activity and the highest visitor numbers ever recorded at the Centre! In my new role I hope to be able to build on the Centre’s strengths, help to attract even more visitors and continue to improve Edmonton Green for its tenants, shoppers and the local community.”
