EDMONTON GREEN MOVES FORWARD WITH NEW CENTRE MANAGER
St. Modwen is delighted to announce the promotion of Adrian Gillings as the new Centre Manager for Edmonton Green. Adrian arrives into the role having worked at the Centre for 18 years.
Adrian commented: “My overall objective as Centre Manager is to build on existing strengths to make Edmonton Green a brighter, welcoming place for tenants, residents and members of the public to enjoy. My hands-on style of management will focus on building relationships and working with stakeholders to build on the success of Edmonton Green as a community hub of which we can all be proud.”
Edmonton Green is the dominant town centre located in the south east part of London. It has a variety of national and independent retailers, serving a vibrant demographic community of all ages and ethnic groups. At the heart of the town centre is the Market Square with its variety of market stalls offering with a plentiful supply of exotic fruits and vegetables from around the world and home furnishing, clothing and beauty treatments.
Since starting his new position as Centre Manager at the beginning of March, Adrian has already begun to make innovative plans for the centre’s future, including a new waste management strategy. Other exciting plans include new marketing events and competitions to enhance the family-friendly environment, as well as promoting shopping and leisure to further consolidate the centre’s central part of the community.
