FAMILY FUN FOR ALL AS LONGBRIDGE HOSTS FIRST HARVEST FESTIVAL

Longbridge will host its inaugural Harvest Festival, on Saturday 23rd September, thanks to support from St. Modwen, owner and manager of the town centre and community group Friends of Longbridge Open Spaces (FLOS).

The event, which will run from 11am–1pm, will include a farmers’ market with a variety of stall offerings from local businesses of fresh fruit and vegetables, breads, cheeses, speciality drinks, ice-cream, hot food and more.

There will be a bit of fun for all with best vegetable and wonky vegetable competitions and children’s games taking place on the day. To register your interest in taking part in any of the competitions, please contact j.e.paine@blueyonder.co.uk

At 12:30pm there will be an ‘Act of Thanksgiving’ with a couple of harvest hymns and prayers, which is open to all.

Andrea Clarke, Property Manager for St. Modwen, said: “We’re very pleased to host our very first Harvest Festival in Longbridge town centre.

“There are lots of fun activities for all the family to enjoy on the day, and we hope the public will come along and show their support.”
