FIRST HOMES LAUNCHED AT FORMER RAF LOCKING SITE

St. Modwen Homes, part of St. Modwen Properties PLC, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, is launching the first phase of new homes this weekend, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November, at its unique Locking Parklands development near Weston-super-Mare.

The event will formally launch the first phase of homes, which will see 34 properties released to market, of which 30 will be made available through the Homes and Communities Agency’s HomeBuy Direct scheme in conjunction with South West Homes. The homes released to the market will include a range of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2 and 3 bedroom homes which have extensive views over adjoining parklands and a future recreational area with prices starting from £95,000.

Prospective buyers will be able to visit the marketing suite between 10am – 6pm and discuss specifications and interiors with on-site sales team advisors. It will also be the first opportunity to view the contemporary 3 bedroom show home that has been designed to give prospective buyers a true taste of living in this unique environment.

The development of high quality homes and apartments is designed to create a village community in a superb setting surrounded by mature trees, acres of green open space and well conserved wildlife habitats.

The Homes made available through the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) HomeBuy Direct scheme, in conjunction with South West Homes, allows prospective buyers the chance to buy 70% of the market value of a property whilst the HCA, South West Homes, and St. Modwen Homes will offer an equity loan of up to 30% to cover the remaining cost.
