FIRST TIME BUYERS VOTE BRANSTON LEAS TOP PLACE TO LIVE IN UK

St. Modwen Homes’ Branston Leas development has once again been voted the best regeneration project in the UK; this time by first time buyers who believe it is one of the greatest places to live in the country.

The mixed-use development, located off Burton Road in Branston, was awarded the gold award in the Best Urban Regeneration Project of the national First Time Buyer Awards on Friday (21st April).
Differing from other national awards, the winners of the First Time Buyer awards were decided on by members of the general public, with votes collected online over a two month period.

Branston Leas was celebrated for the positive effect that the regeneration has had on the local community. As well as already providing more than 100 new homes, St. Modwen has delivered 160 school places through an extension to Rykneld Primary School, a village centre with new shops and local amenities, employment space that will create 1,500 new jobs, a sports pavilion and a new 82 acre bluebell wood.

In November last year, Branston Leas was also named the best regeneration project in the UK by industry experts in the national Housebuilder Awards.
