Former Post Office site in Farnborough set for redevelopment

Key Property Investments Ltd, St Modwen Properties PLC’s joint venture with Kuwait-based Salhia Real Estate Co., has obtained planning consent to redevelop the former Post Office site in Farnborough Town Centre which will be known as Queensgate.

Four retail units are to be created with 24 one-bedroom private flats developed above.

Simon Rutter of St Modwen, said: “We are delighted to have received the first planning permission for the redevelopment of the town centre. This allows us, subject to agreement on some procedural issues. to programme a start on site in the summer. “This is a real leap forward in our aspirations and is good news for the town as a whole.”
