Following the recent announcement that New Look was taking a unit, four more retailers have signed up to start trading this autumn in the second phase of the Castle Walk shopping scheme in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
St Modwen Developments Ltd, the development subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, which is on course to complete the scheme by November, has five other retail units in solicitors hands.
Walmsleys Furniture Store is taking 4,665 sq ft Music Zone is taking a 3,095 sq ft unit, Adams has been let a 3,056 sq ft unit and Cardfair is moving into 1,236 sq ft ground floor premises. All the units are let on a 15-year lease with five-yearly rent reviews. Rental levels at Castle Walk are £45-£50 Zone A.
The 20-unit 57,000 sq ft second phase is opening for trading progressively through the late summer and autumn.
