FRANKIE & BENNY’S RESTAURANT PREPARING FOR PRE-CHRISTMAS OPENING AT TRENTHAM
Frankie & Benny¹s is to open a 130-seater restaurant at the main entrance to the Trentham Estate, North Staffordshire, the highly successful 750-acre visitor destination being developed by Trentham Leisure, a joint venture between St Modwen Properties plc, the UK¹s leading regeneration specialist, and Mr Willi Reitz, the German wine and leisure entrepreneur.
The company, which runs 1950s-style Italian/American restaurants, has taken a lease on the innovative timber building with a double curved roof designed to create a stunning entrance feature to the estate.
The restaurant, currently being fitted-out and which will open before Christmas, has been developed in conjunction with an 119-bed hotel complex which is due to become operational next Spring.
The four-storey hotel which was to have been a Tulip Inn has recently been acquired by Whitbread as part of the takeover of the Golden Tulip business and will now operate as a Premier Inn Hotel.
