St. Modwen has this week/this month installed free Wi-Fi portals in Kirkby as the regeneration specialist continues to invest in the Town Centre’s refurbishment.

Shoppers will now be able to browse the web at high speeds across the town centre when 11 portals go live later this month.

Kirkby Town Centre manager Mike Matthews said: “The installation of free Wi-Fi is the latest step in the long-term commitment St. Modwen has made to revitalise Kirkby Town Centre.

“We have also launched a new website and social media pages to complement and encourage shoppers to engage with activity across the Town Centre.”

He added: “This is just one of a number of improvements planned to help local people access information about their Town Centre and keep up-to-date with the regeneration plans.

“Further refurbishment work is currently taking place on-site and will also be announcing a programme of events next month to take place across the summer months.”
