Further housing coming to Trentham Lakes
Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration Ltd the joint venture company between St. Modwen Properties PLC and Stoke-on-Trent City Council, has completed the residential element of its 400 acre mixed-use development at Trentham Lakes, Stoke-on-Trent with the sale of the final three acres of housing land to national housebuilder, Bovis Homes Ltd.
Bovis Homes plan to build around 70 houses and apartments – the third phase of housing – to meet the full range of demand from first time buyers through to larger four and five- bedroom houses.
Ray Hill, Development Surveyor, St Modwen Properties, said ” We are very pleased that the third phase of housing development will now be starting to complement the successful commercial development schemes. The regeneration at Trentham Lakes continues to bring new employment, new homes and improved facilities to the city.”
James Webster of FPDSavills, which marketed the housing sites, said: “This is the final phase of residential land at Trentham Lakes. Over the past two years we have also successfully marketed two other tranches of land on the development to David Wilson Homes and Bryant Homes.”
