Further tenants secured for redeveloped Mold Shopping Centre
Recent lettings at the refurbished Daniel Owen Shopping Centre, Mold, Flintshire, have taken the amount of new space let in the centre to past 75%, report St Modwen Ventures, the investment subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, which undertook the £2.3 million scheme.
The 14-month long scheme has included the relocation of the market hall, the upgrading of the malls and the creation of 3,251 sq m (35,000 sq ft ) new retail space, anchored by Argos and Peacocks.
DK Roberts (Rhyl) Ltd, trading as Diskos Ltd, has taken 232 sq m (2,500 sq ft), and Giftline Link Ltd is occupying 186 sq m (2,000 sq ft), both on 15-year leases at annual rents of £36,250 and £32,250 respectively. A 46 sq m (500 sq ft) unit has been let to a local trader and there is interest in the remaining 232 sq m (2,500 sq ft) unit.
