The new state-of-the-art Harpurhey Leisure Centre, North Manchester, which includes a 25-metre swimming pool, a health and fitness centre plus a range of services and facilities for pre-school children and their parents and carers, has been handed over to Manchester City Council by developers Redman Heenan Properties Ltd.
The centre, whcih includes a Sure Start scheme, forms an integral part of the £20 million North City Centre regeneration project by Redman Heenan, the investment subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, in partnership with Manchester City Council and Asda.
