HEALTHY EXPANSION AT CRANFIELD’S INNOVATION CENTRE
Following the Budget announcement last week, St. Modwen is pleased to continue its support for growing businesses with the arrival of Screenetics as a new tenant in its Innovation Centre at Cranfield University Technology Park.
Innovators in the corporate health screening market, Screenetics has moved into the Innovation Centre from Milton Keynes to benefit from the excellent communications and business support offered by St. Modwen and Cranfield University at this hub for innovative and skilled growing businesses. The availability of flexible office space and access to an expanse of services were paramount for Screenetics in its choice of office location, as part of its growth plans.
The business tailors health screening programmes to suit every organisation and every budget, and helps to make healthcare more accessible by providing workplace screenings for the most common causes of serious illnesses. Employees are given their results immediately and are able to ask questions about their own health. Screenetics’ clients are finding that they can reap dividends in terms of reducing absenteeism and improving productivity. Even though the screenings are carried out at clients’ workplaces, Screenetics needed a base office for administration and sales.
Dr Soniya Williams, Medical Director at Screenetics, comments:
“We are very pleased to have moved our growing business to Cranfield where the Innovation Centre can offer us everything we could need in terms of communication and business support. We are confident of the future now that the Budget announcement has been made and is in support of businesses like ours, and we look forward to that future at Cranfield Technology Park.”
Rupert Wood, Regional Director at St. Modwen comments:
“Cranfield University Technology Park is a perfect example of the type of facility that small, innovative businesses can thrive in. It is the sort of facility that the budget is targeted at. We are delighted to have welcomed Screenetics to our growing community in the Innovation Centre.”
Cranfield Technology Park is an 80 acre site situated adjacent to Cranfield University on which St. Modwen alone has already developed over 116,000 sq ft of business accommodation which is occupied by over 40 businesses.
