Industrial units sold at London auction

Four industrial units in the South East sold on behalf of St Modwen

Properties PLC to private buyers at Jones Lang LaSalle’s London auction,

made a total of nearly £1.5 million.

Two units totalling 524 sq m (5,640 sq ft ) at Saxon Business Centre,

Windsor Avenue, Merton, London, were sold for £580,000.

A 619 sq m (6,665 sq ft) unit at Travellers Way, Wingate, Welham Green,

fetched £450,000 as did a 432 sq m (4,650 sq ft) unit on Swan Business

Park, Dartford.

Anthony Baron, a surveyor at St Modwen, said: “The sales were part of St

Modwen’s on-going strategy of selling properties when it has completed its

own programme of adding value. The auction route was chosen because of its
