JOIN THE FUN AT BILLINGHAM TOWN CENTRE THIS EASTER
This Spring, the Easter Bunny is coming to Billingham Town Centre. On Saturday 4th April, he will be hopping his way around the town centre, hiding hundreds of chocolate eggs for the first ever Billingham Town Centre Easter Egg Hunt.
Children and their families are invited to join the free event, which starts at 10am in the heart of the town centre. If you’re lucky enough to spot a chocolate treat hidden in shop windows around the town centre then it’s yours to keep.
Excitingly, there is also a luxury egg to find, which the Easter Bunny has hidden somewhere in the Town Centre, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled.
Retailers taking part in the event include Thomson Travel, Cooplands, Town Square Jewellers and Mr Moos Butchers, amongst others. To claim your free chocolate egg, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and then simply tell the retailer where the egg is located in the shop window.
Organised by St. Modwen, which owns and manages the town centre, the event is part of the ongoing work to revitalise the centre.
Tony Donnelly, Town Centre Manager for Billingham, said: “This Easter we hope to see the local community join the fun at the first Billingham Town Centre Easter Egg Hunt. We have lots of treats to give away and young people of all ages are welcome to take part.”
