Kirkby Market Hall redevelopment pre-lets in place

Two of the three new shop units which St Modwen Developments (Kirkby) Ltd and clients of LaSalle Investments Management, are creating through the redevelopment of Kirkby Market Hall, Merseyside, have been pre-let prior to work starting on the scheme which is due for completion in mid-August.

Select (Retail) plc has taken a 15 year lease on 239 sq m (2,570 sq ft ) at £49,500 a year, and William Hill is taking 173 sq m (1,860 sq ft) on a 15 year lease at an annual rent of £34,500.

The third unit, comprising 212 sq m (2,280 sq ft) ground floor and 218 sq m (2,345 sq ft) at first floor, is available to let as In The Pink Ltd, which had committed to take it are now negotiating to take a 15-year lease on a larger unit in the scheme to allow the company to trade its full range of goods.
