Leading food retailer signs at St. Modwen’s Albion Gateway

St. Modwen has attracted the UK’s largest bakery chain, Greggs PLC, to its popular 10-acre scheme known as Albion Gateway in Burton-on-Trent.

Greggs PLC has signed a 10-year lease for approximately 3,000 sq ft of space, with the store bringing approximately 10 jobs to the local area.

The letting forms part of a wider development of 82,700 sq ft, which includes retail and leisure space, as well as commercial units. The scheme is home to several industrial and logistics businesses, including James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot, engineering firm Beck & Pollitzer and MKM Building Supplies.

Albion Gateway, located to the north of Burton-on-Trent, has excellent links to the A50, A511 and is situated on the A38, the main arterial route into the town centre.
