St Modwen is delighted to announce that Lidl is to open a new store in Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, London, on May 10.

The German-owned store chain has taken a double unit totalling approximately 6,000 sq ft within the centre which St Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, is transforming through a £100 million mixed-use scheme.

James Stockdale of St Modwen, said: “We are very excited about Lidl’s arrival as it clearly shows how the profile of retailing in Edmonton is improving . A wide variety of new and excitring retailers, cafes and restaurants are attracting more and more people to the centre.

“There are only three retail units available on the recently opened new retail concourse. The next phase of development will see the completion in October of a new 24 hour Asda superstore plus 40,000 sq ft of additional retail space and 440 new car parking spaces.”
