Local children draw what they love most about Uttoxeter for St. Modwen Homes

Primary school pupils in Uttoxeter have taken part in a competition to show St. Modwen Homes what they most love about the area.

The housebuilder invited children at Picknalls First School to draw posters of their favourite local places and what they enjoy doing around the town.

The winning entry, from year 4 pupil Lucy, will be displayed in the Homebuyer Hub at St. Modwen Homes’ Bramshall Meadows development. Lucy also received a £50 gift voucher, while runners up Nicole and Grace were awarded £30 and £20 vouchers respectively.

We are thrilled to have three winners recognised for their artwork in this competition. Art is something that the children simply love to do and we are so proud of their efforts. It’s been great to work with St. Modwen Homes and we’d like to thank them for the opportunity to take part in this exciting competition. All of the entries were fantastic and we saw lots of really inspiring drawings to help give our customers a unique insight into what’s to love in and around Uttoxeter.

Picking a winner was by no means easy but, in the end, we decided that Lucy’s design would be the perfect welcome to our Bramshall Meadows development. Well done to everyone!”
