MORE FIRMS ATTRACTED TO KEY SHEFFIELD ENTERPRISE CENTRE
The second 48,000 sq ft phase of Shepcote Enterprise Centre, the final element of the 27-acre business park development by St Modwen Developments in conjunction with Corus plc on the edge of Sheffield city centre, has attracted three more firms leaving only one unit of the recently-completed accommodation available, and the last unit on the first phase.
More than 110 jobs are being created on the new business scheme by the relocation from the centre of Sheffield of packaging company MM Bell, and the move there by Unipart and River Island.
Steve Prosser of St Modwen said: “The most recent speculative phase of this successful development is now completed. Shepcote is attractive to both local and national companies because of its quality and location to the M1 and the city centre. Later this year it is hoped a start can be made on an office scheme on an adjacent two and a half acre site.”
Lambert Smith Hampton is acting for St Modwen.
