MORE INWARD INVESTMENT FOR GLOUCESTERSHIRE AS FINAL UNIT COMPLETES AT GATEWAY 12 BUSINESS PARK

Unit 1 at Gateway 12 in Gloucestershire

St. Modwen, the expert developer and regeneration specialist, has completed the final speculative warehousing and industrial unit at its £22 million Gateway 12 Business Park in Gloucestershire with the potential to create over 90 local jobs once occupied.

The newly completed Unit 1 spans 66,000 sq ft of commercial space and is available for rent and immediate occupation.  Its completion concludes the final development phase at Gateway 12, which now provides a total of 285,000 sq ft of prime location logistics and production space for Gloucestershire with a long term jobs growth potential of over 400.

Gateway 12 is already home to kitchen firm ProCook, home furnishing supplier Warwick Fabrics and, most recently, to retail giant Amazon, which moved its Book Depository subsidiary into the new regional distribution centre in May 2018, creating over 100 new jobs for local people.

Following completion of the entire site, St. Modwen will now focus on developing the  first phase of employment space at its 58 acre Quedgeley East Business Park adjacent to junction 12 of the M5 in Gloucestershire. Work on the first 178,000 sq ft of warehouse & industrial space across three speculative units will commence at Quedgeley East early in 2019, which is envisaged to accommodate a total of 935,000 sq ft and approximately 1,250 jobs
