Multi award-winning housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes, is steaming ahead with construction of the second phase at Branston Leas, located just two miles from Burton-on-Trent.
Construction is well underway on the new homes, with the roof now in place on what will be the show home at the development. When complete, this new phase will boast 204 properties, comprising two, three, four and five bedroom houses.
Dave Smith, Managing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Our new homes are taking shape at Branston Leas and, by this time next month, we’ll be in a position where we can open the doors to a brand new show home at the development.
“Thanks to St. Modwen’s ongoing regeneration of the area, we’re expecting this second phase to be even more desirable than our first phase. With shops now open at Branston Square, the extension to Rykneld Primary School complete and many people taking part in the tree planting at the new bluebell wood, people no longer have to use their imagination as to how this community will develop; they can see it for themselves.”
Boasting 12 new house designs, this latest phase includes a mix of two and three storey properties, with all designs varying in appearance and internal layouts, allowing homeowners to choose the house that suits them best. As standard, all homes have been designed with high ceilings and large windows resulting in bright and open spaces.
In addition to the new homes, St. Modwen Homes will also deliver a large quantity of open space, including the planting of hedgerows, shrubs and trees around the development, as well as a new public footpath and a children’s play area on site.
St. Modwen Homes has now launched the first of the homes in this new phase for sale, including a mix of three and four bedroom houses. Prices start from £224,995 and all the properties are available to purchase under the government’s Help to Buy scheme, whereby purchasers only need a 75% mortgage and a deposit as little as 5%.
Branston Leas forms part of a larger regeneration project by St. Modwen which includes a collection of shops, car park and community garden being delivered at Branston Square, a new sports pavilion at Clays Lane Park, Burton Gateway business park and Branston Leas Wood which will boast in excess of 20,000 trees when complete and be part of The National Forest.
St. Modwen Homes is the housebuilding brand of St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist.
