Regeneration specialist St. Modwen has agreed a new 10-year lease with Home Bargains at Crosby Town Centre cementing the national retailer’s presence in the town.
The Liverpool-based homewares store, one of the biggest employers in Merseyside, is located on Moor Lane.
Since acquiring the Town Centre earlier this year, St. Modwen has been working on plans to improve and modernise the buildings on Moor Lane, which they hope to finalise and announce in the coming months.
David Nuttall, Development Manager for St. Modwen, said: “As well as looking to attract new occupiers into the town, it was also important to secure good quality existing occupiers within the centre.
“Securing Home Bargains is the first step towards achieving our goal in Crosby of a desirable town centre scheme.
“We are continuing to invest in surveys and investigative works to allow us to prepare a comprehensive plan for the balance of our assets, so we can bring forward attractive and deliverable proposals for the Town Centre.”
Lambert Smith Hampton and Pinsent Masons represented St. Modwen on the Home Bargains transaction.
