St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has leased 7,000 sq ft of industrial space and one acre of open storage in Doncaster, securing the presence of three businesses in the area.
Kirk Sandall Industrial Estate in Doncaster is now fully occupied, after St Modwen agreed a five year lease with existing tenant MAK Distribution on a 7,000 sq ft industrial unit. The local kitchen component distributor is expanding to fulfil its current needs and gear up for future expansion. The company now occupies over 30,000 sq ft at the site. Tenants have also been secured at St. Modwen’s Parkside Industrial Estate off Wheatley Hall Road, including automotive retailer Evans Halshaw who signed a 3 year deal on half an acre of secure open storage. There are 8.5 acres of open storage remaining, which benefits from full height permanent fencing, on site manager, CCTV coverage and lighting.
Richard Bannister, Development Manager, at St. Modwen in Leeds, comments: “I am delighted that we have been able to secure new lettings in Doncaster. We take a flexible and straightforward approach when working with our tenants to ensure we are able to meet their needs. This approach has meant that existing tenants often take further space from us and we are also able to secure new occupiers notwithstanding the challenging market conditions.”
Steve Rae, Director at MAK Distribution, said: “We are very pleased with the service St. Modwen provides. The flexibility they offered in terms of responding to our long-term requirements and providing tailor-made solutions was a driving factor in our decision to lease more space at Kirk Sandall Industrial Estate.”
