Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration Ltd, the joint venture vehicle formed by St Modwen Properties PLC and Stoke City Council, has secured a pre-let to Royal Doulton of its new headquarters and factory shop at Etruria Valley, Stoke-on-Trent.
Royal Doulton will be taking a 20-year lease on the 2,555 sq m (27,500 sq ft) offices and 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) factory shop at a total annual rent of £358,000, when the development , to be commenced in January, is completed in late summer 2001.
Euan Lindsay, of Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration, said: “Royal Doulton’s decision to relocate to Etruria Valley, the latest 27.5 acre development phase of Festival Park, against competition from both within Stoke and elsewhere, further demonstrates the quality of the development and its location.”
This is the latest in a line of major deals over the past six months at Etruria Valley which includes new offices for local company George S Hall Ltd, a Vodafone Data Centre and expansion land for The Sentinel Newspaper Group.
