NEW SHOW HOMES STEAL THE SHOW AT GREGORYS BANK

Robin Hood, Maid Marion and the Sheriff of Nottingham helped to unveil two brand new show homes at St. Modwen Homes’ Gregorys Bank development in Worcester, on Saturday (10 January).

Located off St. Georges Lane North, the show homes – one of which is a four bed property named the Barlow and the other is a three bed home called the Lawrence – are part of the second phase of development at Gregorys Bank and showcase two of the eight house designs which are available.

St. Modwen Homes teamed up with local theatre production company, Kays Theatre Group, welcoming the cast of this year’s pantomime, ‘Babes in the Wood’, to help launch the new homes at Gregorys Bank. The cast re-enacted scenes from the pantomime – which is being shown at The Swan Theatre in Worcester from January 16 to 25 – and also performed a song from the show.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Buying a house is about more than bricks and mortar, it’s about finding somewhere that you really want to call home. Having Kays Theatre Group at our show home launch allowed us to not only showcase our beautiful new homes but also give people a glimpse into some of the fantastic events and organisations that Worcester has to offer.

“The show homes have also been styled to celebrate the local area. Our interior designers took inspiration from local rugby club, Worcester Warriors, as well as Worcestershire sauce and the canal-side location of Gregorys Bank when finishing the properties.”

The themes have been subtly brought into three of the four bedrooms in the Barlow show home. The first being in the boy’s bedroom which includes a framed Worcester Warriors T-shirt and in the second the use of rope accessories and a sailor blue feature wall has been applied to reflect the canal-side location. In the third room, a bright red statement headboard with darker beautifications dotted around the room has been used to highlight the Worcestershire sauce branding.

Continuing the feel of a light and bright home, synonymous with St. Modwen Homes’ properties, the bright colours have been subtly complimented throughout the property with neutral ivory tones and accessorised with soft furnishings to create a homely and welcoming space.

The Barlow boasts open plan living, as well as high quality fixtures and fittings, a designer kitchen and modern bathrooms. It has been designed with an en-suite and walk-in wardrobe leading off the master bedroom, as well as a separate study and French doors leading out to a rear garden from the large dining and family room which is perfect for growing families.

When complete, Gregorys Bank will comprise a total of 120 new homes. Currently on offer is a selection of detached and semi-detached two, three and four bedroom houses. Prices for the new homes start from just £228,500.

Ideal for those commuting to work in Birmingham city centre or further afield, Gregorys Bank has great transport links to the M5 and a direct train to Birmingham which only takes 40 minutes.
