NEW YEAR OFFERS AT GREGORYS BANK

National residential developer, St. Modwen Homes, is giving househunters in Worcester a helping hand by offering New Year offers on select plots at its latest housing scheme, Gregorys Bank.

Helping househunters in Worcester to get 2014 off to a flying start, during January the multi award-winning housebuilder is offering to pay £5,000 towards the stamp duty as well as providing fitted carpets and ceramic floor tiles in the bathroom and en-suites, when people reserve ‘The Duke’ four bedroom semi-detached property, priced from £257,950.

Construction is well underway on the new homes at Gregorys Bank, with the first homes expected to be ready to move in to by spring – some of which overlook the picturesque Worcester and Birmingham Canal.

Bev Hall, sales and marketing director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “After the celebrations and expenditure at Christmas, January is widely recognised as the most frugal month, but if you’re looking to move house, it’s actually the best time in the year, as there are lots of offers available.

“During January, we’re making life easier by offering to pay £5,000 towards the stamp duty payable on The Duke property at Gregorys Bank, as well as providing carpets and ceramic flooring throughout the homes – consider it a late Christmas present from us!”

Presenting traditional Victorian house designs, yet with all the modern comforts and technology of a 21st century property, ‘The Duke’ home offers contemporary living across three floors. Typical of St. Modwen Homes’ design-led approach to housebuilding, the property boasts higher than average ceilings along with large bay windows, allowing natural light to flow through the homes.

Carefully designed with the needs of modern family living in mind, ‘The Duke’ property boasts a large open-plan kitchen and dining area featuring integrated appliances and offers French doors which open-out on to an attractive rear garden, along with a spacious formal lounge. A convenient boot room is also provided off the kitchen – perfect for locking those sports bags and muddy shoes away.

Upstairs, two double bedrooms can be found along with a study, which can be used as a playroom or a snug, according to individual need. A spacious family bathroom can also be found on the second floor, featuring designer sanitary-ware and eco-friendly Hansgrohe fittings. Providing homeowners with a touch of luxury, the top floor is designated entirely to a large master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, along with additional storage space for added convenience.

Bev added: “Gregorys Bank is situated in an ideal location with all modern conveniences to hand with a number of convenience stores – including independent bakers – just a short walk away, as well as being just five minutes’ drive from the hustle and bustle of the popular historic city of Worcester. What’s more, with the Worcester and Birmingham canal located literally over the fence, the new homes are perfect for people to enjoy a long family bike ride or a pleasant Sunday morning jog!”

The housebuilder has recently opened the doors to a stunning five bedroom show home at Gregorys Bank, giving potential purchasers an opportunity to walk around the home and get a feel for what it would be like to live at the development.

When complete, the first phase at Gregorys Bank will deliver more than 50 three, four and five bedroom luxury houses in a peaceful canalside setting, whilst being just a five minute drive away from the treasures of Worcester’s historic city centre. The new homes are perfectly situated for people wishing to commute to Birmingham city centre or further afield, with the M5 (junctions 6 and 7) just ten minutes away and a direct train to Birmingham taking just 40 minutes.
