St Modwen Ventures Ltd, an investment subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, has let a 697 sq m (7,500 sq ft) retail unit in the proposed £2.3 million redevelopment of the Daniel Owen Shopping Centre, Mold, to Peacocks on a 15-year lease at an initial rent of £60,000 a year.
Steve Prosser of St Modwen, said: “Peacocks follow Argos in signing up as the anchors for the redevelopment. Planning permission has been obtained and road closures and other procedures are well advanced. We expect to be on site before the end of the year.”
