Planning go-ahead for next phase of Festival Trade Park

Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration, the joint venture between St Modwen Properties PLC and Stoke-on-Trent City Council, will start in the Spring on construction of the next 5,181 sq m (55,770 sq ft) phase of the popular Festival Trade Park in Etruria Valley.

Planning consent has been granted for this second phase which will provide trade counter premises from 279 sq m (3,000 sq ft) to 1,068 sq m (11,500 sq ft) that will be available for occupation this summer. The accommodation will suit such businesses as electrical, plumbing, building materials and automotive accessories.

The first phase of 2,880 sq m (31,000 sq ft) was fully committed before practical completion. The occupiers are Rexel Senate (1,115 sq m/12,000 sq ft), Strata Windows (743 sq m/8,000 sq ft), Crown Cup and Technical Casino Services (511 sq m/5,500 sq ft each).

Alastair Smith of St Modwen, said: “We already have a good level of interest from local companies in the second phase which we are confident will be as successful as the earlier phase.”
