Property developer scores a winner with new away kit for Pumas

Property developer St. Modwen has given a lockdown lift to a Worcester under-9s football team, in the shape of a new away kit, as they prepare to return to league fixtures.

Nunnery Wood Colts Pumas team, which plays its seven-a-side matches in the Mercian Junior Football League, has been able to buy the new away shirts thanks to a generous donation by St Modwen. The property developer had previously also been a headline sponsor for the Pumas’ home shirts.

We’re thrilled that the team is excited about its new kit and we’re looking forward to seeing them out on the pitch. As we deliver further new homes and logistics space in Worcester, we’re committed to supporting young people into sports and to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the local community.”

James Irwin-Singer, Development Manager at St. Modwen

The ongoing support from St. Modwen means a great deal to everyone involved – coaches, parents and, of course, the boys, who play with real pride in their new kit. It’s fantastic to be back training and playing; we have league fixtures, cup matches and tournaments to look forward to over the next three months.”

Pumas manager, Steve Birch

The team is always keen to hear from prospective players for the 2021/22 season; to find out more, contact Steve Birch on steven-birch@sky.com or call 07469 719720.
