Sales take flight at Heron Business Park

After a slow start local businesses are seeing the attractions of taking new, state-of-the-art premises at Heron Business Park, part of Widnes Waterfront Economic Development Zone.

Three more units, all of 3,321 sq ft, have been sold by Widnes Regeneration, the joint development between St Modwen Properties PLC and Halton Borough Council, for around £200,000 each.

Alan Price has bought one of the units and the others have been sold to Cunningham Brown and Widnes Blinds.

Richard Bakes of St Modwen, said: “The advantages of Heron¹s excellent location and good quality offer are now being fully realised. These sales justify our investment commitment in the EDZ and their success will lead to future development of phase two for which a planning application has already been submitted.”

Dixon Webb and GVA Grimley acted for Widnes Regeneration.
