Sarwjit Sambhi reflects on Day 1 as CEO

Today, we welcomed Sarwjit Sambhi as our new Chief Executive Officer.

In a packed day of site visits, Sarwjit was introduced to a full suite of St. Modwen activities across our three dedicated business units. Just as importantly, he got to meet the people that make it all happen.

Kicking off the day with our Strategic Land & Regeneration business, Sarwjit took a whistle-stop tour of The Trentham Estate led by the estate’s director, Alastair Budd. Showcasing the best of St. Modwen’s regeneration expertise, the historic gardens basked in the morning sun as the team introduced Sarwjit to this leading Staffordshire visitor attraction.

The tour then moved on to St. Modwen Park Stoke Central and Stoke South. Led by development directors Ian Romano and Stuart Murray, these two key employment schemes highlight the expertise within our dedicated St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics business unit.

Moving on to St. Modwen Homes, the party next visited Trentham Manor and Victoria Park. Led by St. Modwen Homes Managing Director, Dave Smith, Sarwjit was introduced to the teams responsible for these award-winning sites and the rigorous quality standards maintained throughout the build process.
